Art, Science & Creativity
Organised by Liverpool Book Arts, the exhibition is inspired by various statements by Albert Einstein, highlighting the fact that creativity is central to explorations in both art and science. And as we wonder, and attempt to understand the universe and ourselves, categories can, and perhaps should, become blurred.
I am showing two books in this exhibition. It is at Liverpool Central Library until 31st October.
One is a collaboration with poet Mike Sims. He ponders the moon without resorting to rhyming with June while I have taken his words and applied a poorly grasped notion of quantum physics to them.
The other is a lighthearted look at how health research and data security come into conflict with genetic material. Science can be fun.
You can also see a video of all the books in the show here while the exhibition is running in Liverpool.
