Is This The Place?

I was going to make a dreadful pun about never being a bridesmaid but decided against it (well almost) but here I am having a show at the St. Bride Institute in the theatre bar.
I’ll be showing about twenty linocuts of various places - hence the title. I’ll let you decide if they are recognisable or not.

The show opens on 9th July and runs until September 27th.

I will be there on Wednesday August 14th between 6 and 8pm
The public have access to the exhibition before and after theatrical performances.
These are usually on week nights with occasional Saturday afternoon matinees.
Check the St Bride website for details and dates of theatrical performances.

At other times visitors must book prior appointments at the St Bride Foundation Reception,
Mon-Fri between 10am and 6pm.
Contact details are given below.
(Note: St Bride Foundation is usually closed at weekends with only
access to theatre and bar when there is a weekend performance.)

The institute stands on the site of the Bridewell Palace of King Henry VIII and is the home of the internationally known St Bride Printing Library and the Bridewell Theatre. It was established in 1891 to provide "social and educational facilities” for the printers and printer workers of Fleet Street. The Bridewell Theatre Bar itself was converted in 1999 from the Laundry Room of the adjacent Victoria swimming pool which is now part of the theatre.
