QPL - An international library (with no fines)
The Quarantine Public Library was set up in May 2020 by Katie Garth and Tracie Honn who wanted to make something they could share with people while they were locked in at the start of the pandemic.
The idea they came up with was to create an online library of one page artists books that people could download and make for free. The library now holds nearly two hundred books by artists on a diverse range of topics.
To choose a book all you need to do is go to their website and pick a book to download. On the site you will also find the simple instructions on how to make the book when you have printed it - it takes no more than a bit of folding and a cut with a pair of scissors.
You should find my book on this page.
It is also possible to browse the books in their entirety on the website if you want to save paper.
Plus they take donations for a charity that connects low-income people to internet and computer services.
