This is my first set of digital prints. Based on the ‘Flat Projection’ drawings from my Postcard Project the aim was to recreate the landscapes with the most basic of tonalities and set the space against the flatness of the surface patterns. Originally I planned them as wood engravings but quickly realised I could achieve what I wanted much better using photo editing software - although they probably took as long to make as wood engravings.
